Expensive
For a program that costs $20 it's surprising that there isn't a way to export results and graphs to other applications. It would be a great program but the results you get are so limited in their usefulness for reports etc.
Graphs & derivatives sometimes wrong
Try derivative of ln(xyz) wrt y, you get zero instead of 1/y.
Try spherical parameterization of sphere with phi from 0 to pi/4 to get what looks like a square root function rotated around z axis instead of portion of sphere
Etc (these are just the ones i remember)
3 stars cause its pretty cheap afterall
Potent math power
I'm a freshman engineering student in calculus and multidimensional math. Math Studio is taking time to learn, but its graphic displays are superb, solutions to multiple linear equations fast, loading speed decent, and ability to work with files at times truly delightful. The program offers plenty of functions that, of course, take time to explore and learn. Rather than lug a laptop about, I carry Math Studio everywhere on my iPod and thus rarely suffer from "mathematicus interruptus." While I have yet more to learn about this program's potential, there's no question it is worth the price if you're doing higher level math.
