To organise your notes, you can add custom coloured tabs and titles, manually stamp today's date and find individual notes through the automatically created page of contents. Before you close your notebook, put a wonderfully red bookmark in your notebook to know where you left off.

Please note that Meernotes is all about the retro feel of taking notes with the iOS keyboard (in both landscape and portrait mode). Once a page is full, you will not be able to add more text to the same page. If you are looking for a more gray, digital, word-processor-like approach to note taking (with endless scrollviews), Meernotes is not for you. Pasting of texts longer than a normal note page is currently not supported. This version is designed for the iPhone / iPod Touch.

Wonderful app. But...
This really needs to be a universal app. It is VERY hard to use on my iPad. I think that this would replace my other writing apps if it was.
One other thing. The font is sometimes overkill. I realize what u are trying to do. But it would be awesome if we could choose a common sans serif font for body copy. BUT, as a graphic designer, it is a great, stylish way to take notes. THANKS!
If this becomes a universal app I will DEFINITELY make this a 5 star review!
I really wanted to like it, but...
I mean, I love the idea of having an App that allows you to create journals that are aged and distressed, but it should have better functionality. My aim was to use Meernotes to keep a dream journal... it would be perfect for that, right? Unfortunately, my thoughts don't always flow in a linear fashion, especially when I'm still sleepy-faced. I was able to make my initial entry, but I didn't want to fuss with editing misspelled words and out of sequence memories as it would have disrupted the flow of my thoughts (dream memories are like bubbles, you know... they pop, and then they're gone forever). Anyway, during my initial entry, the text flowed from one page to the next, just as it should. Then I went back to edit, thinking I would surely be able to cut a paragraph of text from near the end of my entry/session and paste it closer to the beginning... but you can't do that. Once a page has text on it, you cant paste to the preceding page and have the text reflow. You just get this message:
"Ooops! Sorry, but this is a truly analog text editor. There is already some text on the next page. If you want to write more, simply turn to a new page just as if this was a real notebook"
Well, it's not a 'real notebook', is it? It's an App, and it needs to have flexibility. It needs to be able to continually reflow the text.
The same goes for trying to add a title to a page after the fact (once the page is full):
"Sorry, but you can't add a title on this page as you've got too much on it. Delete two lines and try it again."
Again, Live Text Flow. If the maker is a purist and positively feels compelled to adhere to the 'like-a-real-notebook' idiom, he could at least make Live Text Flow an option in App Settings. Really, it's a mistake to just assume that people would prefer the former over the latter. I realize that page numbers will change if you add a page earlier, but they can continually be re-adjusted for all I care. I've no attachment to them. I need editing capability.
The above coupled with a glitchy thing that was happening where I couldn't select text that was on the bottom line near the keyboard frustrated me to the point of giving up on it.
Again, I really like the clean, well-designed look of this App, and I'd give it 4 stars (there's always room for improvement) IF it had Live Text Flow, but in its current form, it's useless to me.

You can do so much with it!
And when I had a question, they promptly answered me back and were very helpful. Well worth the money!
