MiDi-to is a wireless DJ MiDi controller designed for Serato Scratch Live™. It is the first iPad MiDi controller designed for Serato that does not need any additional software to work. MiDi-to takes advantage of the Core MIDI framework which minimizes setup and latency.

Our intention is to bring back the DJ's attention to their DJ set instead of their computer.
MiDi-to's features are divided into 3 practical views:
MAIN VIEW:
ONE FINGER LOOP ROLL
Remix tracks on the fly by moving your finger around the screen. From 1/32 to 32 bars!
TRIGGER CUE POINTS AND SAMPLES
Real-time finger drumming and remixing galore! MiDi-to offers immediate response and an error-proof layout for extreme cue-juggling.
DIRECT ACCESS TO ALL FXS
Quickly access and control all of Serato;s ultraFX and combine them with Loop Rolls.
REVERSE/CENSOR
Flip the track with just one tap.
AUTO LOOP
Easily and precisely make auto loops. From 1/32 to 32 bars.
MANUAL LOOP
Manually create custom loops.
Change playback mode between Absolute, Relative and Internal quickly in emergencies (cleaning your needle for example)
FX VIEW:
ADVANCED SFX CONTROL PAGE
You can easily select any of Serato’s FX
presets. Individually manipulate wet/dry
via large touch faders for 6 FX. Change the FX beats on the fly for interesting results.
LIBRARY VIEW:
EASILY NAVIGATE YOUR CRATES AND LOAD TRACKS
Touch and hold to quickly scroll through your
library. Switch between crates using the “TAB”
button. Quickly load tracks without making mistakes thanks to the ergonomic buttons.

Quick setup: Just connect to your Mac via Wi-Fi, launch MidI-to, tap on the name of your connections and your are ready to go!
Included tutorial: Simple tutorial made for DJs not IT professionals. Available offline in case you need while at the Club.
The MiDi-to equipped iPad can be seamlessly integrated into a DJ setup providing a more hands-on approach to Serato's features while enabling the DJ to perform in novel ways.

A dj must have
This app was the selling point for my iPad 2! It has all the features a REAL DJ needs... From the cues to the sample triggers, it's all here. I really hate having to touch my laptop for anything while I mixing, now there's no need. The developer has the map ready for free download and all keys are pre mapped:)

Very Useful
Before finding this app, I previously used a korg nanopad to access my cue points, looping, effects, etc. (Serato SL1, iPad, MacBook Pro, 1200mkii, Rane ttm56). Like the previous reviewer, I absolutely hated having to reach to my laptop for anything, and using the mouse was always kind of a hassle.
Now I set my laptop way off to the side, and set my iPad on top of my Serato box, which is just above my mixer. No more laptop face, easier access to Serato MIDI functions, and more options than my previous controller. And the effects layout page--IMO--is done well.
Here's why it doesn't get a full five stars:
-I wish it had skin options, or ways to change the layout/aesthetic.
-more importantly, I wish there was a way to wire my iPad to my laptop. So for an update, maybe the option to connect using the iPad camera connector and USB cable.
Impeccable
Once you get through the initial installation, everything works flawlessly. So amped to debut my iPad setup opening for Nero!
