I have tried and used many of these kind of apps over quite a few years and they all have shortcomings. MileBug has its share but I have found nothing better. I am still looking. When the app opens to record a trip at the top should be selection of the vehicle. Next should be the beginning mileage. If any value is entered other than the last one zero the end reading or reset it to the beginning value. Then should be favorite trips and a drop down menu to select. The app is quite useable but clumsy. GPS tracking has not lived up to its billing so far and I don't use it. Its just like attention to detail and logic, for example this review still lists a very old email account. Don't know if it will ever change.
fails
was looking for an app that would keep tracking a trip in the background, so an incoming call or having to check a text or email won't loose trip. the tracking seemed to work fine with a couple short trips around the neighborhood.
went and tried it on a multi-stop trip and somewhere along the trip it stopped tracking, so I lost the mileage record. I tried it several times (in denial I guess) and it happen to 3x. unacceptable. wish I could get my $ back.

Great app!
This is a very useful app. The new GPS feature makes it even easier to use. Milebug makes keeping track of miles for tax deductions a breeze.
