Description
MilkSnake is a new take on the classical snake game. It is played on the surface of various 3D shapes, such as a sphere, a torus and even a Möbius strip.
It requires a decent graphics card! It will run on weaker hardware, such as the Intel GMA chipsets found in many MacBooks, but the graphics quality will be lower.
There are a total of eight different levels, with several different visual and musical styles (by Ken "coda" Snyder), and several different difficulty levels, so it can be enjoyed by both inexperienced players as well as those looking for a challenge. You can also share your scores online on Twitter, or anywhere you can post links.
Enjoy this gentle introduction to non-euclidean geometry!

Thank You
I bought this because you gave us The Unarchiver, because it features chiptunes, and because the price is absolutely appropriate. Thanks!
Beautiful
It took me a bit to figure out how to load the different levels, because the game kept restarting me on the Sphere in Easy mode. The first three levels are simple straightforward shapes with ordinary textures and plain music. But then the interior surfaces of certain shapes enter the picture, the lighting models get inventive, the music takes a more ethereal tack, and suddenly things are a whole lot more interesting.
Cool gem.
This is a pretty well-implemented smooth little game with a twist on the classic snake game.
I find the game "jittered" when going around tight edges on the möbius strip and when I crashed my snake once it took a while for the game to react (was it connecting to the internet?)
Otherwise, this is a great thank-you for years of free "The Unarchiver" use…
(All your apps are so tiny and optimal… very neat)
