Revised to 5 stars!!!
With the latest update that adds a budget create/edit function and transaction split function, I can now do everything from this app after doing initial setup online.

Needs the ability to edit your budget amounts from within the app!! Or, could I at least edit it from iphone Safari?
My wish would be to sync all with quicken. I would use it all the time if those features were added.

So very useful
mint gives you the ability to run your personal finances like a business. You generate revenues through salary and pay expenses throughout the month. this lets you track where you spend the most money, shows you ways to cut expenses and increase revenues. It is simple straight forward and sometimes very enlightening when you realize where large portions of your money goes. As in business you can not expect to be successful when you run your finances at a deficit, this app and website gives you the tools and education to get a hold on your financial future. I wish personal finance apps like these could be implemented into school systems at early ages so that kids can learn early on that budgeting and time value of money is one of the most important lessons they'll ever learn.
