** How it works **
On first launch, Moodagent syncs your music collection with the high-definition profiles we have online. We get the track profiles that match your collection, and store them locally for faster response. If you find that not all of your songs are synced, then download the Moodagent Profiler from www.moodagent.com to your Mac or PC and let it profile your library. After that simply re-sync and you'll be able to use most or all of your music collection.

Customer Reviews
Fantastic app for finding the kind of music you are looking for
Exactly what I have been missing in ITunes! Great for putting together playlists for specific activities e.g. running and works perfectly for identifying songs for picture slideshows and videos.
Amazing!
This should be the standard for organizing a music library. This is so easy and elegant.
Room for Improvement
I've been using Moody for a few years on my computer and was looking for an app in that same vein, and along comes Mood Agent. Conceptually it's exactly what I was looking for, but in practice it doesn't quite live up to my expectations. As many have noted the sliders often don't fine tune the playlists quite right, often grouping together contradictory songs; but the more I use it the better it seems to get, though that could be my imagination.
My main problem is that more times than not if I choose a song to build a playlist off of that song doesn't have a profile, or if it does, it often seems dead wrong to me. I'd love to be able to fix that with the desktop application but the fact that I am still using Tiger on my Mac makes that impossible since they don't support anything before OS 10.5. Maybe once I convert to a newer OS this will be the best app ever. Until then though I'm stuck with inaccurate profiles.
I also wish there was an option to make longer playlists: 50 & 75 song options would be great. An export function would also be nice, but I don't think Apple allows that yet. Also, in my experience, when deleting a track from a playlist it doesn't offer up any new tracks to put in their place, sometimes leaving me with a 17 song playlist. It would be great if they kept filling in the list with the next choices, always keepig it at a minimum of 25 songs.
So, in general I like the app, but certainly see room for improvement. Maybe a few updates and more users adding profiles will bring it up to par in the near future. Great start though. Thanks, and keep up the good work.
