Hope to see 1080p for A5 and above
Works fast on short videos but on >5 min videos (720p), the frames/borders in exported video are jumpy (not jumpy in time context, but spatial) and is nothing like the preview at all. At least, the preview shows promise. Hope to see 1080p support for devices with A5 and above. By the way, I like that this app can work in portrait.
Needs work
I was excited, then I used the app. It actually added jitter to the first video I tried. What's needed is a way to mark points or areas of the video to ignore or focus on. The video I used was a static scene except for one butterfly in the center and relatively small; well under 5% of the video area. The lions share of the scene had a lot of contrast and detail. What happened is the program tried to stabilize the butterfly, putting much to much 'weight' on the butterfly. It seems rot me the objective of the algorithm would be to choose maximize stabilization of the largest area vs the most erratic movement. Stabilize the scene, not objects in it. Now, it may be that stabilizing an object in a scene is in some cases what's desired. Allow the user to choose, and to provide additional information about what to stabilize and what to ignore. If not, well, kinda useless IMO.
good idea, poor execution
if it just simply cropped and adjusted the borders it would probably be great but it pulls objects in unnatural ways. the video ends up looking better prior to editing than after.
