Listen to Minnesota Public Radio anywhere you go with the MPR Radio player. This application lets you listen to all five of MPR's streams: The Current, Classical MPR, MPR News, Radio Heartland, and Wonderground Radio.
The Current at 89.3 FM in the Twin Cities plays independent emerging artists alongside the legends who inspired them. Classical Minnesota Public Radio offers all classical, all the time. Minnesota Public Radio News provides in-depth coverage of regional, national and world issues
The high-quality streams (128 k) for The Current and Classical MPR play best using a wifi or 3G connection. The MPR News stream (64k) will play with wifi, 3G, or the EDGE network. This application was developed by Minnesota Public Radio And CodeMorphic, Inc.

1/1/11: Love, love, loved this app until I updated it a couple days ago. Now when I try to open on my 3rd gen Touch, it crashes immediately upon opening.

Installed the patch issued 1/3 for the immediate crashing problem after the last update (12/27) and am happy to report everything is back to working beautifully.
Thanks to the developers for being on the ball and getting a patch out quickly! SO glad to be able to listen to MPR on my iPhone again!
No longer works by WiFi, does work on 3G network
I thought this app was defunct. It stopped working on my iPhone months ago and this site has not been updated. I contacted MPR and they told me it's still supported and works for them. So I took a wild guess and turned off my iPhone WiFi. It worked again. I've tested with a 3G and 3GS on 3.1.2. It works on 3G, it doesn't work on WiFi. Could be my network, but it's pretty plain. I'll try it when I'm on other WiFi networks. My guess is there's a bug that blocks use with most WiFi networks, or some Qwest router issue. I wouldn't have thought such a bug was possible, but my money is on the bug. If this app doesn't work for you, try it with WiFi turned offf.
