Mused knows about museums all over the USA (the rest of the world is coming in a future release). When you're visiting an area you're unfamiliar with, use Mused to discover all the great museums nearby. So if you live in California, and you visit New York, you'll have all the museums in your hand just in case you're nearby.
Right now Mused will let you:

* See the address, phone number, and hours

* Show directions from current location
* View the website in the embedded web browser (does not take you out of Mused to Mobile Safari!)

What's New in Version 1.1
Fixed a major location updating bug that made it difficult for most people to find any museums by continuously loading the a "Finding museums" alert window.
This has been fixed so that the "Finding museums" alert only pops up when the location has truly changed by 50 meters or more.

Nicely done!
I got this app, and am actually amazed. I grew up nearby, and it found a museum I didn't know about a couple towns away that looks like a great one to bring the Girl Scouts to... definitely worth a look at this app if you're interested in local museums, or travel and like to see what's in the area. Lots of neat features like linking to the museum website where available. Well done!
Awesome app!
I found this extremely useful not only for my travels, but also when others from out of state (or country) are visiting and I need ideas of where to take them to. I was surprised to find numerous museums in my area I'd never been to before, all available on one single app on my iPhone. Great work!
Limited options, features and crashed a lot too
Can't search by zip code or city name. Crashed a lot. Need to fix it. Can't search by type, doesn't group by type etc. For a $3 app, it really needs to do some major enhancements. Until then, you better to stick with Google map search. I'll review it and give a new rating again when the new version somes out.
