Almost there.
Please please please... A compressor filter or plugin is need it right away! Just one feature will get you the missing star!
And the audio editing needs to be more advanced.
The Best and Improving
A very smooth interface for those familiar with multitrack recording software. Meteor is the most complete and functional DAW app for the iPad that I have found...and I have most of them.
The MIDI sequencing section still needs some improvement. I find no MIDI sync to lock devices together, and I'd like to set each track to record its own, individual MIDI channel -assignable for each track. This would allow a multi MIDI channel mix to be recorded to individual tracks in one pass. Perfect for backing up all my backing tracks, and it makes editing them easier. A list, event editor for MIDI tracks would be very useful too.
With new, multichannel hardware being developed for iPad users, allowing for more than two, simultaneous recording tracks is a necessity (16-32 would be nice).
Definitely the finest recording/workstation for the iPad thus far!!!!
