Description
This is the official Moodle app, designed to work together with your Moodle web site!
NOTE: Moodle 2.1 or later is REQUIRED to use this app. Mobile web services must also be enabled on the Moodle site.
This app is not a replacement for the Moodle interface, it just provides you with some useful additional tools.
You can:
- download course resources (documents/audio/video) to view offline
- upload pictures and video to your Private Files area in Moodle
- record and upload an audio file to your Private Files area
- view the participant list of your courses
- view information about the participants
- send a private Moodle message
- add a private note about someone
- work offline with automatic synchronization
- copy a Moodle user to your mobile address book
- access the web version of your Moodle site
- access Moodle documentation
What's New in Version 1.1
Requested new feature: Course contents!
You can now download many of the resources from your courses for offline reading. Works for nearly any document type (images, audio, video, PDF, Microsoft Office files etc) in any resource module (page, url, resource and folder). Requires Moodle 2.2.

Hooray for Moodle App.!
Three days from installing my Moodle 2.2 and my students are using the App!
Rather than move to the second semester in my Chemistry classes which were Moodle 2.02, I installed new Moodles for them using 2.2. This avoided setting up categories for the new semester and allowed me the benefit of all of the new features of Moodle and... The mobile app.
Student access is much more immediate, and now, Moodle bases courses are optimized for today's "digiratti".
The most apparent benefit of the app is that the 'time to information' is much less and together with the new mobile web themes, and the iPhone/iPad/iPad ability to display content quickly and elegantly the overall Moodle experience is truly magic.
I anticipate updates and additions from the Moodle community as the app develops into a more comprehensive solution to online learning.....
