Description

myStaples is the one-of-a-kind application designed to streamline both students' and teachers' day-to-day activities at Staples High School in Westport, CT.

If you're at all familiar with the iSHS webapp (http://m.stapleshigh.net), you'll love this native iPhone application.

myStaples provides the the same basic functionality as does iSHS. Viewing personalized daily or modified schedules as well as current period information all cross-referenced with the lunch schedule is a breeze with the completely redesigned user interface. myStaples seamlessly syncs with the server on startup whenever there is internet in order to always have the latest modified schedule and lunch schedule.

The Lunch Box tab gives you quick information about lunches for the current month and also gives you the option to browse the entire lunch schedule for any other month or class type, a task previously very difficult to accomplish.

myStaples has also added fully-supported HOMEWORK MANAGEMENT across all classes. This allows you to add as many assignments as you want to each course each with its own due date and assignment information. From there myStaples streamlines the rest and allows you to filter the assignments by due date or class.

FEATURES:
- Personalized schedule management
- Announcement viewing, automatically synced with the Staples TV System
- Fully-supported homework organizer
- One-click access to SnapGrades and BlackBoard, with an auto-login option
- Push notification support
- Universal application designed for both the iPad and iPod
- Support for multitasking in iOS 4 as well as the retina display

PUSH (AND LOCAL) NOTIFICATION INFORMATION
myStaples utilizes Apple's Push Notification service in order to keep both students and teachers updated as to when each period will end. If you are in your free and would like to know when there are 10 minutes left in the period, if you are a teacher and need to be notified when there are 2 minutes left in your period 7 class, or even if you are a student who always misses the buses and needs to be notified with 3 minutes left before they leave, myStaples gets the job done. myStaples seamlessly integrates with modified daily schedules in order to give the user the flexibility and reliability he requires.

Furthermore, on iOS 4.0 and above, myStaples utilizes the devices Local Notification service in order to always keep students updates as to what lunch number they have by sending them a notification at a specific time every day,

What's New in Version 2.2.3

- Update built in lunch schedule to reflect most recent changes
