The color, transparency, auto-fire function, and controller arrangement can be freely customized.
The virtual stick can also be switched between analog and digital operation.
Control settings can be changed from the pause menu.
Previously purchased titles and items wiped out due to lost save data can be restored using the following method.
1. From the main menu, enter "SHOP".
2. Under the "SUPPORT(Restore purchase)" section, press the "Help" button.
3. Press "OK" at the dialog to confirm the restoration of purchases.
4. Enter your AppleID (if prompted) and password. The AppleID you enter should be the same one used for previous purchases.
5. When the "Restoration of purchase history succeeded." dialog appears, the restoration of purchases is complete.

Be careful that the signal is not cut off while purchasing something. If the purchasing process is interrupted, there is a chance that purchased items will disappear.
Be sure to back up this application with iTunes when deleting it.
If the application is deleted without back up, the purchased items will disappear.
Some items can be downloaded again, but this is not guaranteed.

Assign keys as desired for each title with the Controller option in the Pause menu.
Tap the image of the button to assign in the application and then press either iCade button while the image is flashing to assign that button.

Bad UI, no portrait mode, absurd IAP scheme
The UI looks and works like a high school Flash tutorial. SO unpleasant.
No portrait mode even for portrait games! And no auto-rotate when you invert the iPad. That's a manual toggle. Why?? And landscape games aren't even full-screen. All that wasted border!
Only one game supports iCade--Galaga--which is a good start! But the ugly touch UI remains, even when using iCade.
The programmers need to look at quality iOS apps and learn how to make them. This is a real halfway job.
Worst of all: the insane IAP system where you never stop paying! Do we really want the bad old days of sinking coins for every play? Let aus buy the games and keep them without limit.
It's all a shame because these are some true classic games.

5 stars. I absolutely LOVE the games; PAC-LAND (one of my favorites), PAC-MAN, Galaga, Rolling Thunder, Xevious,The Tower of Druaga, Phozon, and Motos. All good games. But here's a good idea, but you don't have to take it; in your later updates of NAMCO ARCADE, add not only more arcade games, but also, of course with the help of SEGA and Nintendo, different SYSTEM games, like the NES (like Galaga), the Super NES (so you can do PAC-MAN 2: the Adventure Continues) the Atari (Dig Dug), and the SEGA Genisis (PAC-MANIA), just to name a few. That way, maybe even MORE people will buy NAMCO ARCADE, love it, and boost that bad average rate (no offense), to a VERY GOOD average rate; 5 stars. :). Thanks for iCade support. Arcade machines at home and on the go!
