A wealth of content
Today's update reinforces my appreciation for this app! Information is now appropriately arranged and accessible from the starting page, and items within can be marked as favorites. The sighting opportunities feed is newly improved with a weather forecast (so I know I can sleep through the 4:20am sighting of Dragon because it's going to be cloudy and rainy). An addition to this version is "Centers" which gives you a map with locations of NASA centers you can visit, as well as your own location... click on the red pin to a center and you're given full info on the center including a map, hours of operant, cost, and a link to their web site. Other new features from the starting page include "Programs" and "Videos", and all in all, this is really a well-designed app. My only negative comment is very slight - and that is that you can still only watch NASA TV in landscape orientation, and in only ONE landscape orientation at that. However, I really have zero complaints - if I could have only one app, there would be no contest - this one, hands down, is the I use every single day, and I don't know where I'd be without it, especially since my cable TV provider doesn't deem it worth their while to carry NASA TV.
Missing retina graphics
Great content, but the low-res banner and several other non-retina graphics items are surprising for a brand new, 2.0 release two years after the intro of the retina display.
Informative & feature-rich
This app is great, and the update has made it even easier to use. If you love NASA (and you should!) then you should have this app.
