Great Japan Car Navi App iPhone
As native Japanese a car navigation app for Japan, this is just excellent. It is a fully functional car navigation app. However, be aware that this app is entirely in Japanese. The lack of English is regrettable. Note that even if you purchase a car navigation device in Japan that has an English language option, the menus will be in English and the voice directions will be in English, but all the place names on the map will be in Japanese. Also, all address entries and place name searches are also performed in Japanese. The real advantage to this app is that you can buy it in the US iTunes store, where as other Japan navigation apps are only available through the Japan store.
