Q: I see a purple arrow in the status bar even when I don't have Neer open, does that mean GPS is being used constantly?
A: No. The purple arrow indicates that Neer is registered for iPhone background location services. Neer checks location when needed, first using the cell tower network and Wifi. GPS is only used as a fallback. In addition, Neer learns your schedule and adjust itself to check less when not needed. Qualcomm has a long history in wireless and Neer is designed to minimize battery usage as much as possible.
Q: What can I expect in terms of battery life?
A: Continued use of applications running in the background can decrease battery life. Under normal phone usage, our target is for each user to achieve at least one full day of battery life while running Neer and doing all the other things you normally do on your phone. We have done a significant number of optimizations to improve battery life, and commit to making further improvements.

Good concept
A good concept with a lot of appeal. Unfortunately it drains the battery. Drive thirty miles and it has used up 15% of your battery.
loses my information. CRAP
nice idea, just fix a few things.
I have the iphone 4.
I put in complete addresses, and it won't accept.
use me contact addresses so I don't have to copy/paste.
after an hour or so, you lost "my places". This happened twice so far.
I deleted the app both times. ready for round three.
how much bs can I take? not much more.
Fix it.
Test it
Debug it.
then....... release it.
frustrated guy here.
