This NOOMA application includes the full-length version of NOOMA Rain | 001 Rob Bell. In addition to providing unlimited viewings (no network connection required), the app also includes all the content from the 32-page discussion guide, a leader-follower feature that allows synchronous viewing of the discussion guide (only available on 2nd generation iPhone and iPod touch devices), the soundtrack from the film, the ability to email a friend with links and clips related to the film, and a link to the Flannel Store where you can learn more about the film.
Jesus lived with the awareness that God is doing something, right here, right now, and anybody can be a part of it. He encouraged his listeners to search, to question, to wrestle with the implications of what he was saying and doing. He inspired, challenged, provoked, comforted, and invited people to be open to God’s work in this world. Wherever he went, whatever he did, Jesus started discussions about what matters most, because for Jesus, God is always inviting us to open our eyes and join in. NOOMA is a series of short films that explore our world from a perspective of Jesus. NOOMA is an invitation to search, question, and join the discussion.
Things don't always work out the way we want them to, or the way we think they will. Sometimes we don't even see it coming. We get hit with some form of pain out of nowhere leaving us feeling desperate and helpless. That's the way life is. Still, it makes us wonder how God can let these things happen to us. How God can just stand by and watch us suffer. Where is God when it really hurts? Maybe God is actually closer to us than we think. Maybe it's when we're in these situations, where everything seems to be falling apart, that God gets an opportunity to remind us of how much he really loves us.

Love the Nooma videos but very disappointed I can't play these on a TV or projection system. That's why I bought the Nooma Apps - even more disappointing is that Flannel doesn't mention this shortcoming. $5 is way too high for such limited functionality.
Amazing
Perfect message for the day I was going through. Literally, it was raining and I was waiting for the bus. I had my bike and the two buses that came by were full. It was getting late, it was dark, raining and I was in a bad part of town. It gave me comfort to seek in the Lord with all of my problems. I love nooma!

I love this series. It has such a big impact on the lives of my students. I will more than likely buy everyone if you add them. Please, add them all!
