Met de NOS Jeugdjournaal applicatie kan je het laatste NOS Jeugdjournaal op ieder moment via je iPhone of iPod touch bekijken. Daarnaast kan je stemmen op de Stelling van de dag. De applicatie werkt zowel via WiFi als via UMTS. Met sommige UMTS abonnementen is de bandbreedte echter niet hoog genoeg om soepel te kunnen kijken.
Wel is het zeer aan te raden een flatfee abonnement af te sluiten om hoge data-kosten te voorkomen. Buiten Nederland is het verstandig de applicatie alleen via WiFi te gebruiken vanwege de hoge kosten.
