Notespark is an iPhone app and a web app that were built together from the ground up to be the best way to sync and share notes on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
Sync Perfected
--------------
Unlike the built-in notes app, Notespark syncs with a web app, not a desktop app. This means you don't need to remember to sync before leaving the house. Everything just happens automatically. As you switch back and forth between the web and the phone, the same notes will always be available no matter where you are.
Live Sharing
------------
When you share a note through Notespark, everyone sees the same text, and anyone can update it (if you let them). When two people make changes to the same note at the same time, the Notespark synchronization engine merges the changes automatically.
Share notes with a spouse, friend or coworker to keep track of things together (grocery lists, favorite restaurants, project notes). You can even share with people who don't have iPhones by having them use the web version of Notespark.
Push Notifications
------------------
When someone makes a change to a shared note, you are notified immediately. And when you mark an important note with a star, the badge count is updated so that you remember to look at the note next time you use your iPhone.

Everything I needed except 1 thing.
I just purchased this app today and it had everything but because of a security concern from their website counterpart I can not use this app.
This app has:
Import Palm Memo!!! (2 STARS)
Sync thru their website (STAR)
Automatic sync between iPhone App and web (STAR)
Lack:
Security and encryption on both the iPhone and website. (No STAR)
I have some sensitive information that I rely on and that my older brain can not retain. I carried this kind of information on my palm to help me remember and password-protected it so no one else can see it. Notespark does not offer or have any kind of encription or security protection that would protect these kinds of files from being viewed.
This is not a bad thing just a feature I wish they included. If you have an old palm and are looking to move your files to an iPhone or iPod Touch and it is not sensitive information this app is for you.
I do hope they consider adding some kind of security down the line. I would love to use this since that is the only thing missing from this great web/iphone combination.

UPDATED for v1.1 - NOW it's perfect!
I earlier dinged the Notespark crew for not implementing landscape typing in the 1.0 version of this app - the development team not only listened, but also personally wrote me and others to say they read and welcomed the feedback and were working on putting landscape typing into the v1.1 update. Attentive developers listening to their customers to produce an outstanding application. All of the other features that everyone raves about here do work very well (sync, tagging, sharing, etc.). They've also tightened up the user interface for both the iPhone application AND the web interface. Notespark is a joy to use because it does what it says, and it has displaced Text Guru as my everyday text editor on my iPod touch. I promised that if/when Notespark gains landscape typing I'd turn this into a 5-star review - the application, and the developers behind it, deserve those 5 stars not just for that feature but for so much more.
Great App Awesome Time Saver
I have tried so many notes apps and this one is my favorite. The built-in Notes app is next to useless as the only way you can really sync it is to conect youe iPhone with a cable to your computer. Then, it syncs with Notes in Apple Mail (which I don't even use) or Outlook (PC).
This app syncs with the included web app, the way the built-in Notes app should have when you are paying $99 a year for MobileMe! You can share the note with other users and this is the reason I switched from Simplenote. You can also use tags and star notes.
The developer was responsive when I suggested adding links, emailing back quickly and informing me it was being worked on - WELL it is here now making the simple app so much more useful. I use this for To Do lists, grocery lists, directions, all sorts of stuff. I add them with any browser and instantly on my iPhone or iPod touch. I write something on my iPhone and it is instantly available to me on my computer.
The shared feature is great with both people having the ability to edit (if you allow them to). BUY IT you will not be sorry.
