Huge expansion from the first!
Been waiting for this for a lonnng time. The first orions is one of the only games i come back to for the past 3 years. This sequel is just like the first but bigger and much more improved. Gameplay is much smoother than the first. And the amount of cards has increased vastly making for an infinite number of possibilities. All i play is for the duel and thats all i need, a quick 5-10 min game. Now they have the option for u to draw cards back and forth with ur opponent before u start the game. So now u know for sure what they have and draw cards accordingly to counter the ones they pick. This duel system improvement alone makes this game a must have for anyone that likes strategy. It might take some time to learn the game, but once u know all the cards, you will come back to this game over and over. Everything works flawlessly on my iphone 4 and they fixed the bugs and description errors from the first game. For any strategy lovers, get this game now!!
The same but better
After waiting a long time for an update to the original Orions game, it has finally been released. Playing this game is fun again but that could be due to the fact that there are what seems to be about 80-90% of new cards so basically this game is an update to what was already a really good game except with a few additional features such as custom decks and some new challenge games. It also seems like the cards have more abilities and effects which make strategy a little more important this time around.
The campaign mode seems to run faster, not that it was bad before, but still faster.
So overall, the game still seems to be a really good game with a bunch of new cards and a few additional features. Hopefully this time around, we will be able to get new cards through updates compared to a new version a few years later.
Fun but glitchy
I heard the first game was buggy and crashed so I got Orions 2 instead. It is so fun! However, there are a lot of little interface issues. Then I played at Lear 20 hours into the campaign only to have it glitch and not leave the build menus. I keep resetting my iPod to play but I can't continue that campaign. This is a fun game but developers need to put out stable products.
