A disappointment....
I didn't have very high expectations for this app. After all, I have the PS3 version which is amazing. All I wanted was a portable version of the console version because its so fun... This game is a real disappointment. Not only does it have no retina display, it has none of the original game mechanics. For example, the ghosts are supposed to FOLLOW you so that when you get a power dot you can eat them all. But this game fails in almost every way. The only thing I like about it is that it's more fast paced than original, thus, the two stars. I know the developers aren't going to read this, but these are the things we need for the perfect championship edition: retina display, better music, original game mechanics, better controls, and more game modes. If these things are fixed, previous owners will love it better and new customers will be that much more happier with they're purchase. Would I recommend this game to a friend? Definitely not until this game is updated. Until then, I'm deleting this game off my phone.
Just as awesome as ever
The only real problem with this version is that the controls are somewhat difficult. It can be overcome with practice, though. Amazing game, unquestionably the best update of Pac-Man ever made.
