What's New in Version 7.2
This is most importantly a bug fix update, but I've also added a few nice improvements too.
BUG FIXES:
- Packing list number pad reset fixed
- Occasional crash on iPads running iOS 3.2
- Occasional crash when renaming imported data on iPads
- Non-Latin letters & characters lost when exported data transferred via iCloud
IMPROVEMENTS:
- Semi-iCloud solution: transfer exported data between devices via the iCloud
- Easier to add categories/types/items to Master Catalog while making a list
- Imported lists no longer incorrectly displayed under Settings tab (on iPhone/iPod touch)
- Fewer 'OK' taps needed for selections on several lists
- Several layout & design improvements & fewer popups

Good, but I'd love to see it become great
I wish there was a stellar Packing List app that took it to the next level. I've tried a bunch and unfortunately there isn't. However, this is as close as they come.
Areas for improvement: better integration for sharing packing lists with others and knowing what they packed so you don't need to.
Also I could imagine that the perfect app would have an initial interview wizard that gets to know the type of person the user is to know what to suggest to pack. I love the fact that they give you a basic template based on your basic demographics but they could take it a little further.

Not a simple to use packing list. Too many places to put things. I wanted a simple catergory where i can create a checklist for each persons bag and carry on as well as To Do lists.
Hoping to find a good simple app, just sorry there wasn't a free trial for this. Can't afford to keep paying $3 to try out apps that dont function the way my brain does.
This is not a linear system, too many hoops to jump through to get a list of what to pack for my kids.
Great packing app
I've been using this app for a while and it's great. This last update makes it even better. For awhile adding new items was too complicated, but now it's back to simple and quick. The function of importing/exporting, which allows transferring of the lists from my iPhone to iPad is great!! Just waiting for the seamless transfer using iCloud...then this will be perfect.
