Mobile 3D City: Paris 3D is the smoothest application possible for your iPhone / iPod, with virtual city image quality never seen before on any mobile device (or even a desktop PC)! Discover Paris’s finest monuments and learn their history, choose a hotel for your stay and find the closest cinema, choose a restaurant to eat in and call it with just one click, access information on the Web directly or calculate your journey. You can also take your time and enjoy a virtual tour of the whole city, from the Sacré Coeur to the Panthéon, via the Arc de Triomphe, the Hotel de Ville or the Eiffel Tower. Take advantage of the true-to-life, full-3D photos composed from aerial images taken during 2009. Browsing is intuitive : standard zoom in and out features. Simply hold one finger down on the screen and slide your second finger to change the view angle.

this app's performance is amazing, offering fluid and intuitive bird's-eye view of every building in Paris, connecting street maps, points-of-interest and fully textured 3d models.

Amazing app. The first one I feel the urge to post a comment about. Beautifully crafted and shows a lot of potential for the future. Anyway this is what gps and maps will look like in a close future. Add enhanced reality to it. Total interaction and visual precision. No more guessing. This is why they inveted the iPhone for. Congrats guys on a great app. This is worth every cent. Buy this one and you'll be waiting for other cities to be scaned by this technology.
Amazing app — but it's a battery-muncher!
Once I learned how to navigate the view options, I had a blast "visiting" some of my favorite haunts in Paris. I'll admit that the resolution isn't the greatest when you get down to street level, but you still get a wonderful virtual map of the city. My only "boeuf" was that this app drained my battery at a ridiculous rate. I realize it's *very* data-intensive, but I was still a bit surprised, given that it's supposedly 100% offline. Still ... this app is well worth the purchase price. It provides a much richer experience than just looking at a 2D map.
