Description
PCalc is ideal for scientists, engineers, students, programmers, or indeed anybody looking for a feature rich calculator. It includes an optional RPN mode and multi-line display, a choice of button layouts, an extensive set of unit conversions, a paper tape, multiple undo and redo, engineering and scientific notation, as well as support for hexadecimal, octal, and binary calculations.
What's New in Version 2.5.1
Improved support for the Retina display on the new iPad.
Added an indicator to the LCD (where there's space) to show Normal / Scientfic / Engineering mode. Tap it to switch mode.
Significant performance improvements when entering numbers, particularly on iPad.
The glow effect is back when using the Flynn theme on the new iPad.
Fixed a problem with the pcalc://settings and pcalc://ac URLs.

Amazing
This app is incredibly good. It always was an excellent scie ntific calculator, but with the latest release they added constants, conversions, a tape, and easy access to the registers.
I teach calculus, and this is my instrument of choice when I'm not using matlab.
Great app - my HP 41CV is jealous
This is a great app and has the indispensable RPN mode. Many different key layouts.
Fantastic Calculator App
I bought pcalc a couple of years ago. It's had many updates, and the universal update brought it to the iPad perfectly. It forgoes trying to emulate an older HP calculator, and instead becomes something wholly new and useful. Between the scientific features, base conversions, RPN stack, skins, fractions, and a myriad of other features, this little app is a refreshing and useful app that earns a spot on my home screen.
