The nine dice represent the first nine holes of an eighteen hole match. All eighteen holes are Par 3’s, Par 4’s, or Par 5’s. The dice feature eagles, birdies, pars, bogeys, and the dreaded “others” that go as high as quintuple bogeys.
With the distinctive Challenge a Buddy feature, users can play a friend iPhone-to-iPhone as well as iPhone-to-PC. So Challenges aren’t limited to users with iPhone/iPod Touch devices. Simply sign up for an account directly through PGA.com to play the online version.
HISTORY OF GOLO
GOLO was invented by a PGA professional, Patrick Shea, in the summer of 1998. Shea soon began selling the games to golf shops out of the back of his car. Since then over half a million games have been sold in stores such as Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes & Noble, Kmart and ToysRUs.

Love The Game! Add A Few Things... Please!
I've been a big fan of the dice game for a while and was happy to see it come out for the app store. Wrote a full review for appVersity.com so you can check out more there... but here's a few bits... The game is very addictive and quick to play. It's a perfect way for golfers (and non-golfers) to get in a few rounds while waiting in line or in meetings. The game play is easy and there is some good strategy involved in what dice you decide to keep. But I would like see a few things added to the game... I'd love to see the Challenge Mode more like "Baseball Sluggers" so you can always find an opponent. Or at least add a "Pass Around" mode so you can challenge someone sitting next to you. And while I'm at it... having a "Tournament" mode would be a lot of fun. Four rounds instead of just the one and a leaderboard to work with. Maybe we could also have this linked with the Challenge Mode and you'd have real tournament. If you love golf and/or dice games... This is definitely one you need. It's one of my favorite right games right now... it would easily be number one with a few additions.
