PixelEx gives you direct access to the Pixels—The Art of the iPhone website, http://pixelsatanexhibition.com, the premier site of record for the exploding global art movement of iPhone photography, aka iphoneography.
It is the only curated site dedicated to iphoneography on the web.
Pixels, as most people refer to it, has put on a number of gallery shows featuring global artists around the USA, been featured in numerous magazine and newspaper articles around the world, and well as television and video features, and was asked by Apple to introduce the medium to the public in its larger stores around the country beginning in 2010.
PixelEx allows you to upload your iPhone images to the site (subject to curation) with ease. It is also great for browsing the site in different ways: by most recent, by category, and by artist.
Recently the Pixels' site was subject to a number of malicious bot attacks and we had to take some emergency measures which included turning off a number of plug-ins, a couple of which PixelEx communicates with, leading some people to believe the app was broken. PixelEx wasn't broken: the site was. After all, PixelEx has been used to upload 11,000+ images to the site so far ...
Artists retain all copyrights of their images, although images may be used for promotional purposes, giving credit to the artist. In the case that an image is sold as a print or license, with the artists consent, of course, net proceeds are split with artist.

Can't view a thing!
No categories, no photos, no nothing. Every screen you go to is constantly "loading." What a waste. I can't believe such a wonderful website would endorse this!
What happened?
I've loved this app but with the latest update it's not working properly. Can't see any images in any category. I hope you can fix the glitch.
Aug. 2 - still waiting for a fix... I can no longer see any images, use search or anything else. Please remedy!!!!
I think you need a better UI !
There should be instruction on how to submit your work. I had a hard time with using the keyboard and submitting work. It does detour people from using this app. Fix the keyboard so nothing gets blocked or make the return button light up after you finish typing in your submission.
