Pilot your Platypus in the squishiest shoot-em-up ever! Based on the cult Mac classic from Idigicon, Platypus is a fast, fun side-scrolling arcade shooter with a unique difference – every tree, cloud, ship, and enemy was created from modelling clay - so explosions don’t bang, they splat!
Defend peaceful Mungola from the invading Collosatropolans using only your trusty F-27 Platypus fighter plane. Shoot down the enemy ships, and collect fruit bonuses and a range of weapon power-ups to aid you in your quest!
Control your Platypus using accelerometer-based tilt, or guide your ship with your finger.
Platypus Lite includes one fantastic clay landscape and the first Area of Level 1 so you can try the game for yourself. The full Platypus game includes a total of 20 areas across 4 massive clay levels.
Platypus Lite has a fantastic music soundtrack which is inspired by classic Commodore 64 games, and will save your progress automatically when you exit.
Platypus Lite also includes support for co-operative multiplayer over local wi-fi so you can enlist a friend to help you defend Mungola!

Awesome! I had this game on my computer a few years ago, but the free trial ended... Anyway I'm glad to see it in the app store, but five bucks? I don't know.

It's ok, it's cool & all, but it's also kind of boring. I wouldn't recommend it. My opinion; it's a bunch of $h!t
