[ DESCRIPTION ]

You guide your rocket through space avoiding running out of fuel and hitting all the obstacle.
When you collide with an obstacles you either slow down or get eliminated

• Asteroids and satellites will cause the ship to slow down.
• Black holes will pull you towards them until you run out of fuel and get stuck in space (GAME OVER!).
• UFO's should be avoided at all cost as they will destroy you on the spot.

In order to travel far into space you need rocket fuel, there are fuel power-up's that appear randomly throughout the game and you need to pick up as many as possible. There are also other power-up's to help you on your mission such as a Shield and some Nitro.



[ THE STORY BEHIND PROJECT72 ]

Project 72 begun Tuesday January 5, when 4 boys from Venice CA aka Dogtown sat down for dinner and started to discuss what to do next. The idea of making a game in 72 hours started to take place. A few hours later at 8pm the project was officially on its way, deadline set to Friday January 8 at 8pm . Were they gonna finish it in time?

They did and this game is the result!

What's New In Version 1.35

OpenFeint has now been implemented together with 29 achievements to unlock, more achievements 2 come.

Unfortunately the old leaderboards could not be combined with OpenFeint but you can always find the old leaderboards by going to www.dogtownstudios.com/scores/

Amazing
     

Such a great game made in such a short time! I recommend to anyone! Could use unlockables, like you buy them with "Frequent Flyer Miles" (I gotta remember that one). And there's a glitch with high scores. Even a great game needs improvements, but it's still awesome.

Dog + Town = Win
     

Knowing that Project 72 was developed in just 72 hours, I have to say that it exceeds my expectations in almost every way; the graphics are stylish and crisp, the soundtrack is bumpin', and the gameplay is superb. It is perfect in its approachability, but still extremely challenging, which is a hard thing to accomplish. This is textbook Pick-Up-and-Play, folks; keep it simple and fun, present repeatable challenges, and make it compelling enough to make the player want to play it, "just one more time."

A message to the guys at Dogtown: quit your day jobs...and if this is your day job, then get back to work! The days of 6-month development cycles are behind us now, so I'll have my dollar ready for you when your next game releases on Friday.

Addictive and Fun
     

This game is awesome! It's very addictive, has great graphics and has easy controls. Get it if you like Doodle Jump!
