Form and Function
I am a project manager and gantt charts are the standard for time management for a reason. The fit and finish on this app is clean and feels native. The departure from apple's cute but sometimes frustrating "slot machine" style date selection was brilliant. The calendar view is riiculously simple and lightning fast. That's what will keep me using this app over anything else. Lists (read: omnifocus) are lame. I can (and do) make list on a clipboard I that keep on me at all times. That's great for, well listing things, but to actually manage, or plan a project, the app needs to be dynamic. With this app, the list changes to accommodate the date changes. Flipping to landscape fades cleanly to show you where the project stands in a beautiful gantt chart. Well done. (I've got a 5th star set to trigger on an update that allows inter-task and inter-project linking. Output to PDF would be WOW!)
Closest task mgt software to true PM Available on the App Store Today
I have all of the Task mgt sw - TODO, RTM, Toodledo, Carbon Fin, Informant, and a few more (one that I paid $19.99 for but deleted because it only integrated with macs). I am PMP certified and I have been looking for a better tool, and I believe I may have found it in this product. It has some very unique data entry methods the others don't have, and has been well thought out.
If I have one recommendation thus ar for the developer, it needs a desktop interface like Toodledo. Perhaps a future upgrade?
Either way, I'm going to take a harder look at this product for our company as well and see what we can do with it.
