Disappointed
I have read every book Jude Devereaux has written and I loved everyone of them even the one she isn't so proud of, however, this vook does not do her work justice. I enjoyed the reading part although I wish it had been longer. The video part was positively awful!! Ms. Devereux deserved better and so do her fans. I agree that we should be able to bookmark too. I don't plan to purchase anymore vooks at this time.
Horrible!
The videos for this book were horrible and poorly produced. This idea if a video/book is great, but they should of spent more money on the production of the videos. They were so corny, it ruined it for me.
Jude D books are better than this and I think the plot could of been better and longer. REALLY disappointed!! Not worth 10 bucks!
Expected More
I am a huge fan of Ms. Devereaux and give her major props for trying this new vook technology. I think that it has some really interesting possibilities.
The novella part was okay. I recognize that there is not as much room to develop plot or character as within a regular romance novel. The videos on the other hand were poorly produced I can forgive small period details being missed like the way she wrote and so on, but large period details like the way the heroine was dressed ( hair down, tan, no stockings or corset) are just sad. It's not that hard to get them right. I feel like someone somewhere in the production felt like because it was a romance novel it wasn't important to get it right. Lame!
