Good graphics, ok plot, bad controls

It's not bad for a dollar. The visuals are very good though a little muddy. The story is simple but engaging enough to keep you interested.

The big problem is the controls. The whole feel is like a throw back to ten years ago before there was a general consensus about how games like this should work. The "strafe" movement is great in FPS games, but feels awkward here. You can't attack an enemy without "targeting" it first. You have to swipe your finger in order to actually turn, or swipe two fingers to turn faster. So here's a typical combat scenario; you have your thumb operating the directional stick, two fingers trying to pull a fast turn and then you have to tap the enemy in order to target it, then hit "attack" to finally attack it. There just isn't time or space on the screen for all that and it gets old REALLY quick.

It's a shame because with better controls this could be a fun game.

A fairly nice RPG

It lacks a lot of features that this type of RPG should have. I can't list them all, but I assure you even though it's easy on the eyes and a competent game, it's sorely lacking flare.
It becomes dull very quickly and is not very fluid in design.
I don't hate it. But after now experiencing literally every other RPG in the app store this is right the middle between great and terrible.

Insane

Gives you that oblivion experience on the ipod. i loved it but i think you could do a lot better. for the next one try to improve customization ALOT. needs way more weapons, armor, and magic. also see if you can extend the main quest longer than just a couple of hours. i mean, i'm the type that explores everything so it lasted longer than it was supposed to< but still make it longer and make the areas alot bigger and make more side quests. other than the lack of customization and the small areas, i still liked it. Two thumbs up chillingo!!
