The official Redbox iPhone app lets you find Redbox kiosks near you, see what’s available to rent, watch trailers and even reserve movies & games for pickup.
Find a Redbox kiosk: Find the closest kiosk, save your favorites and get directions (with a map!) to any kiosk you want.
Find a movie or game: See all the movies and games that are available at Redbox, or narrow it down to see what's inside of your favorite kiosk. Search by genres, too!
Reserve a movie or game: Once you find what you're looking for, reserve it on your iPhone so it'll be waiting for you when you get to the kiosk.

Got the app anyway
I was hesitant to download this after reading all the reviews. So I thought what the hell, if it doesn't work right I'll just delete it, and downloaded it anyway and gave it a test drive.
It booted up fine, maybe five seconds. It let me sign in, add a movie to my cart, and took me to the checkout page where it had all my information. So it seems to work fine for now,if it gives me trouble in the future I'll come back and update my review.
Boot up & Add codes
Update: Boot up is now down to 10 seconds. Still not able to add codes....
The app takes 26 seconds to boot before I can use it. Wow come on....
Also please add the ability to add coupon codes via the app.
Will increase my rating when things are fixed/added. This could be a great app!
Used to be great...Now just Crashes.
Don't understand why you would put out an update that effectively ruins what was a pretty convenient app. Remove the update or fix it and I'll consider rewriting this review. Otherwise everyone should take a pass on this app.
