They Sold Out
This was a great app, until the makers sold out and signed an exclusive deal with some inferior product search service called TheFind. Now, since the latest update, what you scan will be recognized, but the comparison results will be worthless to you. I would have recommended this app to anyone before, but warn everyone against it now. Fight this greedy company's blatant attempt to grab a second source of income and force them to go back to the old, good search method - by not purchasing this app.
Google's BACK in RedLaser!!
Right after the new update Google wasn't showing up but now it is back and RedLaser is MUCH improved. Thanks for listening to the user comments and fixing this!!
Most useful app!
I've never written a review for an app before but I've nver been as impressed as I am with this app! Being 8 months pregnant, with the holidays around the corner and birthdays piled up in the month of December...this app has been soo helpful! I had tried a free barcode scanning app and was disappointed. After reading the reviews for this one I thought I'd give it a shot! I'm so glad I did!!
The scanner is quick, it finds matches from pretty reliable sites, and saves me time and gas! No longer do I have to drive around or call around to compare prices! For larger, pricier items I definitely use this to find the best deal!
Someone did mention having a feature that let's us group and make specific lists...I like that idea a lot! But I give it 5 stars now!
