Just buy it
Don't let the simple graphics in the pictures fool you. This is an amazing game. A lot of us have been waiting for an online game like this to come to the iPhone.
It's not like Galcon, where you have quick fights and start over (don't get me wrong, Galcon is one of the best games on the iPhone). This is much more in depth. You have make war plans and build armies. Once you start you won't want to quit until you've conquered the world.
Awesome strategy game
This ons rocks! This game is second on my favorites, first is still Vay.
Reign of Swords offers some nicely done strategy game, and it will give you tons and tons of reasons to play with. It is so addictive and I haven't even conquered the whole area yet. It offers armies, building and upgrading your units and the ability to add rivals in order to play against someone online. It can even be an online strategy game if you kept on playing online. Graphics are ok (of course not that good) but performance wise, it is superb. Played for like 3 hours and it only ate like 25% of my battery which is so neat! A battery conserving game! No need to wait, just get it!
Fun Game... what more do you really want?
I've got to say that I've downloaded this game, played it for about three hours and love it! I was wondering why more games like this haven't been done for the platform and then I found this and have been having a ball with it. It's simple to learn and is a nice break when I need one. If you know this type of game, you'll love it. If you don't, but like the idea of turn based strategy, you'll love it.
I've seen a few bits about the graphics and the price, but come on... comparing this to a DS game (Advanced Wars) is a little unfair. That game was built by a bigger company and for a longer established platform. And I paid more than $8 for that game. Yes, AW is better in graphics, story, features... but I can't pick it up and play for a few minutes before turning it off.
I'm grateful for games like this and to the people who take the time to create them. My imagination is good enough that I don't need every little thing graphically laid out for me. I look forward to more like this game (from this publisher and others).
