Ali 'Dubfire' Shirazinia was known for 15 years as half of duo Deep Dish. In 2007, he made a sharp turn and delved into uncompromising techno. It was a bold move which paid off. His early tracks from that period, which include Emissions, were instantly received as techno classics and defined the sound to come. The collaborations with Oliver Huntemann yielded a string of chart toppers like Dios, Diablo and Fuego.
Dubfire's music has been released on Richie Hawtin's Minus, Loco Dice's Desolat, Ideal Audio as well as his own imprint SCI+TEC Digital Audio.
Think of Remiix Dubfire as an interactive record with sounds arranged in four Reels. Bass sounds are in Reel 1, drum loops in Reel 2, the main hook synths are in 3 and ambiance noises in 4. Tap any sound to hear it play, in tight sync with the others. Throw the rulebook out of the window and try things that just... shouldn't... work... You may well discover a new dancefloor bomb!
Not only are the loops automatically synchronized to the beat, the unique matrix-balanced mastering process means that whatever you do, it will always sound like it's straight off a record. Try combining the driving bass of Diablo with the uncompromising drum loops from Rabid. Let a slow synth from Dios rise up in alarm and drop a burst of white noise from Emissions.
As well as giving access to the loops, Remiix apps allow you to mix the material as you wish and apply EQ and special tailored effects. Add some subtle flavour or completely transform the loops
