Description

RepetitiveT is a Countdown Timer which can be used to count down time for multiple repetitions of an exercise or event. RepetitiveT's ability to count down rest periods between events makes it a highly desirable counter for interval exercising such as cardio/ rope skipping and for repetitive physical therapy exercises. RepetitiveT is a perfect timer for training regiments such as CrossFit or Max Workouts.

The features of RepetitiveT are:

-Duration of Countdown Timer can be set between 1-999 seconds.

-Repetitions of Countdown can be set between 1-100 repetitions.

-Completed repetitions, repetitions to be completed, counter duration, and counter wait time, are all displayed on the main display.

-Countdowns can be started and stopped with a tap of the screen, or can be set to be repeated automatically after a user-defined wait time.

-Wait time between repetitions can be manual or set for an auto countdown of between 1-999 seconds.

-Wait time can be superseded with a tap of the main display.

-When the screen is tapped to begin an exercise or resume an exercise after a pause Repetitive will go into a "get ready to go" delay of between 0 and 20 seconds. This delay can be set in the Apple Settings App in the RepetitiveT app settings section. The app's screen will turn yellow while the app is in the delayed start state.

-There are three distinct tones associated with the timer. One tone will sound at countdown start (at the end of "get ready to go" delay"), another tone will sound at the completion of each repetition, and a final tone will sound when the the final repetition is completed.

-There are 6 memories for the Duration, Repetitions of Countdown, and Wait time between repetitions numbers. You can cycle through the memories with the Next button and save new sets of numbers with the Save button.

Custom URL format is:
repetitivet://?&dur=D&rep=R&wait=W&auto=A

D=duration for countdown timer (1-999 seconds)
R=repetitions of count (1-100 repetitions)
W=Wait time between the repetitions of count (1-999 seconds)
A=auto repetition switch setting (0 for off and 1 for on)

The Custom URL has been tested successfully with Launch Center Pro. I use Launch Center Pro to preset my counter configurations for my various Physical Therapy exercises.

Please rate RepetitiveT in the Apple app store.

Thanks for your interest and I hope that you enjoy the app.

Pretty good but to make it better….

Have a start and stop button….it’s difficult starting the timer. Back and forth on the page and double tap works sometimes to get the timer working. Would be awesome to have the ability for each exercise saved as list. There are some exercises (Physical Therapy) I preform which are: 3 sets of 10 reps with 10 second hold/rest for each rep. and 5 second hold (I manually count) between each set of 10. 2 sets of 5 reps with 5 second hold/hold for each rep. and 5 second hold (I manually count) between each set of 5. Etc. FYI….I double the amount of my scheduled reps and set the wait time as 1 so the alarm sounds for hold and rest time equally.

Needs work

It has potential, but it’s not ready for prime time. For one thing, the app doesn’t stop the phone from shutting off. The UI is super basic.
