Solid Play
Gameloft has created some great games in the past (Hero of Sparta) and now they have added another worthy title to their growing release collection. With RoLE they created a solid RTS with great graphics, and a decent plot. The controls were good as well, but I experienced some problems such as the game automatically recentering on selected heroes when I was trying to move my map to somewhere else. Also, in later levels of the Empire Campaign, I experienced some pronounced lag and choppy sound. Besides those small things, I have truly enjoyed this game. I have already played upwards of 4 hours and I like the similarities it shares with Warcraft 3 and other mainstream RTS's. The music selection is fine, but some sounds (such as dying, respawning, or selecting units) can be a bit repetitive. Replay value is limited due to only 2 campaigns and no skirmish mode. But, for $5, this game is a steal. I highly recommend it to any RTS lover in need of a new challenge, or to any newcomer to the genre. for a nice introduction to RTS games. Gameloft has created a truly enjoyable game.

I totaly agree with toastychance because he's right. Gameloft NEVER updates there games unless it's a bug fix. They just wanna make more games cus they are greedy and don't actually care about us
