-new control scheme added (you can change it in the menu!)

Buggy Update
Yes, I restarted my phone after installing. This app has always been a lttle buggy but fun, but the update has made existing bugs worse and added new ones. New bugs include invisible and shifted icon in lower right for lightening special. Old problem made worse is random displacement of ship on initial touch (usually at the start of level).
Great game but...
The gameplay is a joke, seriously, a drunk driver is way more accurate than the games lame touch response. And what about tilt control? Don't even bother: It's an insult to the iPhone games developers

The game is a whimsical commentary on the Fabulous 50's when alien paranoia was probably at its peak covered in the modern-trappings of our techno-chic geek society. This game has it all from the cool, hip-bopping, finger-snapping 50's beach blanket babylon music to the crisply-rendered, "to die for" visuals that seamlessly marry smooth, animated gameplay with a good dose of pleasing eye-candy. The unique power-ups level the playing field (but only for a brief while) as the aliens are loaded with otherworldly tech shrouded in the mysterious Unknown. Gamers don't know what they're going to get and from whom, but we know that it will be visual cornucopia of bullets, rays and bombs. This is truly a tour-de-force that we all have come to know and love.
