If you live in the City of San Francisco: this is the transit app for you. Each update has brought even more thoughtful enhancements to an already fantastic app.
Map view is excellent
I like how you can locate yourself on the map and then see all nearby routes (along with little pins marking the stops). Worth the money for the map view.
