horrible
Not worth a dime unless you want a good example of lazy developers and a non-usable app. This app is not location aware. You literally have to scroll through alphabetical lists to find anything. Seems like development was rushed. Worthless. Yelp is a better app for finding things to do around town, and its free, and its location aware so you can find what's right around where you are now.
Like having the book on your phone
This is a great little app. I'm living in San Francisco for the summer and I'm always looking to find new things to do. This guide is a quick easy way to have a complete list of sights, bars, hotels, and other interesting facts in the area.
No, it does not use location awareness, but it does link to the google map location for places in the guide, so you can quickly find yourself and the place on the map.
Overall, great little app. If you would consider buying the book, you would probably like this too.
Not searchable, not usable
I got this app for a trip to San Francisco. I found it useless. It's not searchable and there is no index. Worst yet, the organization of the information makes no sense. Buy the book -- at least it has an index.
