perfect for the holidays and love the music!
this game is great for short games here and there, like on the bus or at home. the holiday music puts me in a good mood and it's different for each level. it's challenging but not impossible. helps to figure out that you don't flick the presents, but you have to use the color band for the distance. like the open feint integration and now version 1.1 includes a fun christmas countdown. overall, 5 stars for the polished game and for being holiday-themed.
This update is Fantastic ...
They added a nice description on how to throw and use the wind. Targets are identified better. I love watching the long arcing roundhouse throws into strong winds as they sail into chimneys. The music is delightful and quickly puts you into the Holiday Spirit. They made a good game better.
Quick yuletide fix that is fun and addictive
The calendar countdown, the charming, colorful artwork and cheerful soundtrack will definitely put you in the mood for Christmas. Gameplay is addictive because of its simplicity that is nicely balanced by varying levels of difficulty - you have to aim and throw the gifts with precision and accuracy, which is not always as easy as it sounds. Thanks to Open Feint, you can submit your scores and compete on the global leaderboard.
Variety in the gift designs, more locations, and perhaps putting in some animation for the locations would be great enhancements to this game.
At $0.99, Santa's Run offers you a quick yuletide fix amid the madness of the Christmas rush.
