The Dolch Word Lists are compilations of frequently used words as identified by Edward William Dolch, PhD. Dr. Dolch compiled the lists based on the frequency of word appearance in children's books. The 3rd Grade list is comprised of words that are extremely common in 3rd Grade literature and should be mastered by your child. All of the Dolch 3rd Grade words are included in this application.
Many of the Dolch words can’t be “sounded out” using common sound-to-letter implicit phonics patterns and have to be learned by sight; hence the alternative term, “sight word." This application is designed to be used by very young children and is highly effective at providing a solid foundation for the immediate identification and pronunciation of these cornerstone words for early learners.

Not what my kid was expecting
The sight words are too easy. More interaction needed.
Just okay
A little disappointed that I can not turn the voice off. Also, you should find a voice talent who says the words without an accent in her voice; instead of 't(e)n' the woman says 't(ain)'; ver confusing for my little one
Disappointing
This is a very basic app. There is not enough flexibility to keep a child interested. It is very repetitious and boring. There are better sight word apps available.
