Pretty & slick GUI, but ultimately not useful
From the dev's personal writings, I know this was an experiment for him to get Flash on the iPhone. The GUI is slick and functional, just like a real metronome. So kudos for interface. However, the app fails in one regard: as a working metronome.
As a musician I have experimented with many metronomes on the app store (My favorite being Visual Metronome by One More Muse). I have been very surprised to find so many metronome apps drop the beat as this one does. With frequent skipping/glitching, the timing on this metronome was the worse I've used by far. Drove me crazy. I can't say that Flash has served the dev very well in this regard.
To be fair, I am using a 2G iPhone, so perhaps the animation is wreaking havoc with the timing. However, I suspect Flash is more likely the culprit. The GUI is so close to the real deal, that an improvement in the timing would make this an ideal metronome app. Here's hoping the dev gives timing some focus.
Very accurate
When put at 60 bpm, gos exactly with the seconds on the clock. One thing I would like to suggest for an update is the ability to change the time signiture from 4/4 to 3/4 or 2/4, or just get rid of the beeps at the end of the measures
Looks nice but...
Music comes in more tha just 4/4 time.
