How it differs from iSkateboard and GoLearn Skateboarding - Skateropolis has over 2,400 locations n the U.S. We are mapping the rest of the world now. We allow users to post photos and videos directly from iPhone into skate parks and user created groups.
We put our blood and sweat into this skating app and we wanted to make connecting with other skaters and posting skate vids and photos simple. Skateropolis is that and more. We’re stoked to roll Skateropolis 1.0 out to you.

Nice app. Love the follow a friend feature. My local skate park was listed which surprised me since it is small and crappy. You should hook the skitch feature into Twitter.

It's a good app but there's not enough going on. I live in a metropolitan area, but still, no one ever posts anything and there's never any news.

ok, this app rocks! Location-based geo-coding enables a "near me" experience when looking for a skate park. I didn't know there was one only a couple of miles from my house! does a great job of organizing content and navigation within the UI is intuitive. The videos showing the skate parks is a big benefit to newbies in the area to get an idea of what’s there and what you can do in the park from experienced skaters. Like the icons showing what’s there before you trek over...which is a time saver and helps you prioritize. Can’t wait to get local skate shops listed! Break a truck or need some accessories, would be nice to see some local ads to stop in and meet other skaters and buy stuff….hope the iPhone supports video soon, this app is a classic example of one that would benefit from internal video support. I haven't skated for years, but it looks like this app is sturring up some interest again....
