A place to see documentaries that were hard to see/ find in theatres
I've had SNAGFILMS for about 2 months. I saw a wonderful doc on the BEACH BOYS, as well as one about QUEEN, so far.
I find the choices eclectic, and informative. A whole potpourri of subjects, styles...something to tickle anyone's fancy.
To have access to these, the apps sponsor, Goldman Sachs, runs a brief commercial before the film, and then at (I think) 200-minute intervals.
For me, it's no different than what's (unfortunately) happened in regular movie theatre's where they too, show commercials (and in that situation, you're PAYING for this privilege).
All-in-all, a nice app, with nice films.
Great app
I am new to the world of apps, but this is wonderful. I can't believe it is free. Thanks to whoever is responsible.
Great concept. No sound.
I like the ability to access/see various documentaries and short films (hopefully the amount of content will continue to grow) but I also am having the 'no audio' problem. Video quality seems just average. No feature for searching.
So, just two stars for now, assuming the problem will be fixed. Will re-rate if/when problem is corrected.
