Once a solar flare or a geomagnetic storm occurs, you immediately see the level of activity on the status display. More than 20 different charts, plots and solar images are updated around the clock and give you an overview about current space weather conditions.
A sudden rise in electron flux and kp-index can be more exciting than watching a thriller. When an energetic burst of solar wind plasma hits the magnetosphere, collisions of charged particles often causes a geomagnetic storm and auroral lights.

Alert sound
The only thing that will make this app better, is to have some alert system warning announcement in place, so when an event happens an alarm of some type sounds to let you know of the current event happening.
Was good until 4.3
This app hasn't had an update in awhile and is not iOS 4.3 compatible. If you fall into the 4.3 realm then do not buy as this app as it will not load info when launched and usually crashes about 5 seconds after being launched. Use to be great prior to the 4.3 version of iOS. I never have had an app that doesn't function at this level and I don't believe app developers should profit from a non-functioning app. I am kind of shocked that apple has let this app continue in the app store. This is a warning for iOS 4.3 users. I cannot speak for any other iOS at the moment.
No Alerts, Because The Forecast Is Fraudulent.
No matter what storm is in progress they never see it coming. It always reads "Activity expected to be Low"
