Lightweight PocketPC-style Solitaire

I bought Solebon Solitaire and this Solitaire app by MobilityWare. While Solebon's version of Solitaire is more visually refined and contains many additional games, the game play for Klondike isn't as nearly as intuitive (for me and my wife) for the iPhone. Rather than tap tapping cards, it's more pleasing and feels better to drag the cards from place to place as you once did with a stylus. So, if you're looking only for a solitaire game, I would save $8 and purchase the MobilityWare version. The pros for this app are the ability to drag cards from pile to pile and ability to double-tap Ace pile cards and have them move appropriately to their spot. Also, when you switch applications and then return, your game is as it was and the timer pauses correctly.

That being said, the clarity of the cards could be improved, as the numbers look slightly blurred. The speed of the dealing could be faster. Also, an animation speed setting would be really helpful to speed up the transitions. This would make the game a bit more usable for us.

But nevertheless, you should look at this if you're looking to replace that old MS PocketPC Solitaire. This one is the closest based on the two I purchased. Good job MobilityWare. Looking forward to an update.

This game is so much better now

Not only are the cards much easier to read, but they are much easier to move as well. Thanks for the great update!

Cards too small

The problem with this game is that the cards are too dang small. I have to strain my eyes to see them. It would have been better if this application could utilize landscape mode to spread out the cards and make them bigger. The screenshot is misleading because it's bigger than an actual iPhone screen
