Unethical
I bought SpaceTime less than 3 weeks ago and now it's a dead product because they decided to rename it and drop support for the original. Thanks a lot. The QuickOffice app managed to change its name as part of a regular update a few months ago, and they didn't shaft their customers in the process.
Make no mistake, the SpaceTime name was changed to drop their current users, suggesting on their site that current SpaceTime customers should jump at the chance now to take advantage of the half-price offer now on Math Studio. Sure, I'll do that right away. NOT. I wish I could post this review on the Math Studio app page, but I'd have to have bought it first.
Shameful Developers -- Will never buy from them again
Rather than maintain this app they have relaunched it with a new name MathStudio with exactly the same functionality but now you have to pay once again to get it.
MathStudio was updated November 21, 2011 in contrast with this app in July 2011.
I recommend all users to give them 1 STAR the lowest rating possible for this and to complain to the AppStore as well.
UI is still terrible
This app is quite powerful, but the UI is terrible. So much so that I reach for something else when I need to do a quick calculation. The buttons are much too small with excessively small label text. The result is that entering numbers is slow and difficult, and the alpha keyboard is even worse. This isnt good for a tool that leans heavily on a library of functions with long descriptive names. They havent done anything to take advantage of the larger screen offered by the iPad. Too bad.
