From the people who brought you the highly acclaimed version of Hearts for your iPhone, now you can play the classic bidding game of Spades on your iPhone or iPod Touch. Bid on your hand and see if you and your AI partner can out-strategize and out-play your advanced AI opponents.
This time around Ned, your Hearts AI opponent, is your partner. Hands are played to 500 points, and nil earns 100 points.
Unlike many Spades implementations, this one supports blind nils, complete with 2-card passing (though you can disable this feature from the options screen).
The score and statistics pages let you know how often you won and loss, as well as the progress of the current game.
What's New in Version 1.42
Fix issue where, with blind nil disabled, cards are still dealt upside down in blind nil solutions.

There doesn't appear to be a way to start a new game. Cards are small. Don't waste your money.
Great looking app, but needs some enhancements and bug fixes
Graphics and play are very good. Game is completely mute ! Wish it had some sound to it, maybe a clicking noise when you put cards on the table? Or when cards get shuffled?
The game did freeze on me a few times (have the new 2.1 version installed), had to reinstall. Then is started crashing constantly. There isn't an option to start over, if you dont like the cards dealt. Not much in options either(change card colors or edit your name)
Also maybe have the option of some kind of music in the background. Overall not a bad app, just needs some minor fine tuning, crashes and bugs fixed. The developer is great at email reponses, so i am sure the issue with crashes will be fixed soon(thats why i gave 4 stars, and not less).
Not enough options
You can't play any kind of variations or opt to go blind nil yourself and your partner is a total idiot when he goes blind as he hands you HIS lowest cards. But it crashes if you try to turn the option off. I'm used to more variety in a spades program. This is as plain as it gets. That wouldn't be so bad if your partner was intelligent.
